We followed the route exactly as shown, and it was an awesome walk. Took us around 4 hours. It was a quite tough and steep climb that was physically demanding, with some small tight areas degrading, so perhaps a future concern. We did try to go to the viewpoint over the glacier, but stopped halfway as it was really precarious; you had to walk over a great amount of loose stones and we even saw some snow in the distance.
Overall a great route, quite challenging in regards to stamina, but fun. If the sky is clear you have an excellent view. One tip: bring enough water and some hiking poles!
