This chart is intended to show the best time of year for climbing in a particular area. The data comes from theCrag, our partner for climbing content and the world's largest climbing and bouldering platform.
The chart is based on monthly ascents in a climbing area and is intended to give an idea of the best season for climbing there. It should be noted that the information may be distorted by factors such as public holidays, e.g. Easter or school breaks, or other events, as these lead to an increase in activity.
The data we use comes from theCrag, our partner for climbing content and the world's largest climbing and bouldering platform. As a user, you are also able to record your climbs on their website and add such data as the date you visited, your belaying partner, etc.
In short, the most popular months to climb in an area do not always translate as the best times!
