Der Innenraum des Trierer Doms mit Blick auf den Hochaltar

15 unique UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Rhineland-Palatinate

Photo: Dominik Ketz, Rheinland-Pfalz Tourismus GmbH
Rhineland-Palatinate is exceptional, but also unique because of the four UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the Natural Park Vulkaneifel and the Geopark Vulkaneifel, which is recognised as a UNESCO Global Geopark. Highlights of western culture on German soil can be found in the World Heritage Sites of Trier, Speyer and the Upper Middle Rhine Valley.
